1. Marina Bay, free admission

This year’s Marina Bay Singapore Countdown is part of the ONE Countdown series of celebratory events being organised islandwide to commemorate Singapore’s 60th birthday. From free performances by homegrown talents at the Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, to light projections featuring artworks by artists with disabilities on The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and Marina Bay’s spectacular 30-minute fireworks display, there’s lots to look forward to.

2. Singapore Sports Hub, free admission

Taking place at Singapore Sports Hub, the annual countdown show will feature a mix of live music by the likes of Shigga Shay, Taufik Batisah, and Tabitha Nauser, family-friendly activities and mind-blowing illusions by Australian magician Cosentino. Cap off a fun-filled night with a stunning 15-minute fireworks display at the stroke of midnight. You’ll want to head down early to snag a good front-row seat.

3. Illumi, from $12

illumi—the world’s largest light, sound, and multimedia show—has made its international premiere at the Bayfront Event Space.
