Princess Charlotte will soon be able to keep a close eye on brother Prince George every day.

From September 2019, the little princess will be joining her sibling at St. Thomas's school in Battersea, London. This will be a very big step for Charlotte, who is currently attending preschool, Willcocks Nursery School.

Royal commentator Omid Scobie tweeted the news, writing, "Princess Charlotte will join Prince George at Thomas's Battersea School from September this year, Kensington Palace have announced. Principal Simon O’Malley says: 'We greatly look forward to welcoming her and all of our new pupils to the school in September.'"

The Daily Mail's Royal Correspondent, Rebecca English, also confirmed the news by tweeting, "Princess Charlotte will join Prince George at Thomas's Battersea from September 2019 this year. Simon O’Malley, Headmaster at Thomas’s Battersea, said they were ‘delighted’."

We previously revealed that Prince George is studying an eclectic curriculum, including ballet. George apparently studies "everything from swimming lessons to ballet classes," which will suit Charlotte just fine. In March 2018, Prince William told Malta's Prime Minister, "My daughter Charlotte loves dancing," according to People.

Continuing to sing George's praises, William spoke to BBC Radio 1 Teen Award winners in October 2018 about his son's talents. Prince William explained, "George is doing dancing as well, he loves it." He continued, "And it's kind of... my mother always used to dance, she loved dancing. And if it's something you love, you do what you love. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Keep at it."

The Duchess of Cambridge is said to do the school run at every opportunity she gets so no doubt having one drop off instead of two will make things a little easier for the mother-of-three. With Prince Louis having just turned one, it will be a while until he's packing his rucksack yet.
