Sophie Turner wed Joe Jonas in a French chateau last weekend in a dress fit for a role Turner knows all too well—a queen. The GOT star and Louis Vuitton ambassador traded in her signature sleek style for a full-skirted ballgown in silk gazar and floral embroidered tulle, complete with a plunging V-neckline, draped waist, and sleeves that married a cap sleeve with an even more royal-inspired sheer, embroidered full sleeve.

Despite their efforts to keep the event completely private, many photos of Sophie and Joe's wedding leaked on social media in the days leading up to their ceremony. Following the nuptials, the couple (and their notable family and friends) all released the same photo of the duo recessing from their ceremony, photographed by BAZAAR Bride Top PhotographerCorbin Gurkin.

According to WWD, who spoke with Louis Vuitton, the gown took over 350 hours to assemble in their Paris atelier, located in the brand's flagship on Place Vendome. WWD reports that Turner's gown required many hours of handwork, both in the construction and in the embroidery: "For Turner’s dress, more than 10 embroiderers worked for 1,050 hours on the 14 meters of tulle, covered with a digitally designed pattern of more than 650,000 stitches. Each panel was embroidered with 50,400 crystal beads and 50,400 white beads."

Nicolas Ghesquière posted an additional photo from the bride's fitting on his own feed, with the caption “Absolut beauty @sophiet.” The photo on the artistic director's feed revealed the open back of the gown, as well as a closer look at the veil and train.

The polished, regal, and almost medieval-inspired design was ideal for the wedding's setting, in a French chateau, and subtly channeled Turner's most notable role, Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones. While the Queen of Winterfell's looks were never white, and were typically covered in pelts of fur rather than daintily-embroidered laces, the look was certainly a nice nod to Turner's on-screen role as a queen.

Turner styled her ceremony look with an embroidered tulle veil, which reportedly required 48 hours of embroidery. She capped it all off with clean hair and minimal makeup, courtesy of Paris-based hair and makeup artist Harold James.

As for the groom (and his suite of 12 groomsmen including best men Nick and Kevin), Joe Jonas wore custom Berluti, designed by Kris Van Assche.

In addition to the couple's wedding photographer, Sophie and Joe's wedding was planned and designed by notable names from BAZAAR Bride's Little Black Books; BAZAAR Bride Best Planner Joy Proctor planned and designed the event, in collaboration with BAZAAR Bride Best Florist Bows & Arrows.

This formal ceremony and reception was not the couple's first walk down the aisle. Sophie and Joe first wed in Las Vegas after the Billboard Music Awards. The bride wore a jumpsuit by Bevza, and the groom donned a grey suit with a large boutonniere.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
