Sullyoon, Gaeul, Chungha And More Celebrate The Launch Of H&M Glenn Martens In Seoul

The stars aligned for a night of fashion and celebration.

What more do you need than good music, an immaculate space and a star-studded line-up of guests to celebrate one of the most highly-anticipated collaborations of 2025? Glenn Martens, creative director of Diesel and Maison Margiela, as well as former designer at Y/Project, has brought his daring avant-garde touch to H&M’s newest fashion collaboration, and the fashion world has been buzzing ever since its announcement.

The atmosphere in Seoul was particularly electric, as H&M celebrated the launch of the H&M Glenn Martens collection at the brand’s new three-storey store located in Seoul’s it-neighbourhood, Seongsu. The red carpet was graced by K-pop stars including IVE’s Gaeul, ILLIT’s Yunah, NMIXX’s Sullyoon, and beloved solo artist Chungha. Kickflip’s Minje and Donghwa, rapper Coogie and producer-rapper Gray were also in attendance.

Gaeul served looks at the event, donning a thick braided knit cardigan with a maxi denim skirt complete with a handkerchief hem and bold high slits for a touch of spice.

NMIXX’s Sullyoon

Sullyoon had fans swooning over her red-carpet appearance, wearing a long black trench coat with a handkerchief hem, a white tank with Glenn Martens’ signature invisible straps, high-waisted blue jeans, chunky boots and a crumpled black bag.

ILLIT’s Yunah

ILLIT’s Yunah swapped out her Y2K stage outfits for something a little edgier. The star layered a ribbed bodycon dress, printed grey hoodie and a wired puffer, along with the collection’s thigh-high, oversized boots.

Kickflip’s Minje and Donghwa

The idols served double trouble energy on the carpet with Minje in a cable knit cardigan and elephant-cut trousers and a trench coat, while Donghwa posed in a striped shirt, wool check blazer and contrast denim jeans.

To keep the night going, Chungha and hip-hop artists Gray and Coogie heated things up with intimate live performances across the three floors.

Chen Yixin and Willabelle Ong

In addition to the musicians, regional fashion influencers were present, including Singapore’s Chen Yixin and Willabelle Ong, each showcasing their unique interpretations of the collection. Style stars from Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan and Greater China also demonstrated the versatility of the collection with their distinct fits.

The space, inspired by the area’s industrial heritage and complete with art installations and curated edits, became the perfect playground for Glenn Marten’s one-of-a-kind vision—grungy, daring and unapologetically cool.
