Singapore’s largest nightclub opened its doors with a red carpet event and a host of celebrity guests

Over the weekend, Marquee Singapore celebrated its grand opening with show stopping sets by some of the top music talents in the world, DJs Tiësto and Afrojack, topped off with a surprise act by American rapper A$AP Rocky.

The nightclub opened its doors on Friday April 12 with a red carpet event hosted by local DJ and personality Sonia Chew. The event saw prominent guests in attendance, including local celebrities like The Sam Willows, Fiona Xie, Julie Tan, Tosh Zhang, Hayley and Jayley Woo. Regional celebrities such as Thai actresses Malinee Adelaide Coates, Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul (Baifern) and Carissa Springett were also in attendance.

Tiësto was on hand to officially break in the turntables, while guests were also immersed in the carnivalesque spirit of the nightclub, with roving talents, dancers and stilt walkers as surprise treats to enliven the atmosphere, and also took their turns on the much-raved about photobooth ferris wheel, The Big Q, as well as the exhilarating spiralling slides, Sunny Slide Up.
