Few fashion collaborations have been as defining and enduring as that between Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami. Celebrating 20 years since the iconic partnership and its joyful re-edition collection in collaboration with the Japanese artist, Louis Vuitton has unveiled a “Louis Vuitton x Murakami pop-up” in Joo Chiat, Singapore—the only one in Southeast Asia and one of seven pop-ups revealed around the world. The six other cities are London, Milan, New York City, Seoul, Shanghai, and Tokyo.

Housed in a historic Peranakan shophouse, you’ll first be greeted by its striking façade decorated with Murakami’s signature 3DSuperflat Garden, its smiley flowers, and the Monogram Multicolore. Inside, four distinct zones—Retail Space, Cinema, Care Station and Café—seamlessly blend retail and culture, allowing an immersive experience in Louis Vuitton x Murakami’s creative universe.
From the Louis Vuitton x Murakami Chapter One collection to the LV x TM Superflat Panda cardholder exclusive to Singapore, and even a café decorated with Murakami flower cushions—here’s what you can expect at the experiential pop-up.

Get up close with pieces from Chapter One of the LV x Murakami re-edition collection
At the heart of the pop-up is the Louis Vuitton x Murakami Chapter One collection, a highly anticipated re-edition that reimagines iconic designs from the original collaboration. Highlights include the Monogram Multicolore reworked with interlocking LV and floral motifs in 33 different colours, across the likes of the Dauphine, the Speedy, and a made-to-order Malle Wardrobe; the Superflat Panda character and the Superflat Garden brought to life on accessories, as well as a selection of perfumes similarly uplifted with a Louis Vuitton x Murakami takeover.
That’s not all; you can also snag a LV x TM Superflat Panda cardholder—a Southeast Asia exclusive only available at the Singapore pop-up. Any purchase of a Louis Vuitton x Murakami product comes with a special vending machine token for a chance to win exclusive limited-edition Louis Vuitton x Murakami gifts including stickers, Tamagotchis, and trading cards.
Enjoy Superflat movies in a cosy cinema space
After some retail therapy, cosy up for a cinematic experience with two original Superflat movies remastered in commemoration of the artist’s re-edition collection. The Superflat Monogram film (first released in 2003) and the Superflat First Love film (first released in 2009) by Murakami showcase a kaleidoscopic imaginary journey into the past.

You’ll want to grab a spot at the pop-up’s cafe, drenched in pink and decorated with Murakami flower cushions.
